Friday Fest Activities CAHA's fundraising Committee got involved in the second fest of six monthly events in Cloquet's West End on Friday, July 27th. In staying with the Friday Fest theme of a Beach Party, the committee secured a dunk tank to take part in the water fun and to raise money for the association. In addition, they sold shredded turkey sandwiches, pop and chips. The event was such a success that the committee would like to take part again next month. The next Friday Fest is set for August 31, 2007 from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm. Volunteers are needed to help out. If interested, please contact Jackie Johnson at 878-0176. Bring the family by for dinner. It should prove to be a fun night out!

CAHA on Parade
With a very short planning time, a group of parents, coaches and players
from CAHA participated in the Cloquet 4th of July Parade. Participants, who
were rounded up at the summer hockey camps, handed out candy and 900 flyers
that promoted the CAHA golf outing and rummage sale. Volunteers are needed
to decorate a float and to participate in the Cloquet Labor Day Parade. We
are in need of signage, bleachers and hockey fans to ride on the float,
music, candy, and skaters. We hope to hand out flyers promoting hockey
registration. If you are interested in taking part, please contact Laurie
Kelley at 879-0335.
